Venue: 4 Old Palace Yard, Westminster.

Present: William Rusell, Raymond Barker, Mr Akers, Mr Farquhar.

Agreement with the Midland "substantially agreed".

Solicitors have met with Mr Wythes who wished to clear himself of the contract by being paid for the works, plant and guarantees against responsibility of the works completed.

Deposit of £1600 paid for deviation bill.

Letter from Mr Wythes asking for payment of £20,000. Letter to be drafted to say the board will deal witht he matter.

Letter from G Broom of the Witney Railway. The Witney Railway are ready to discuss being taken over by the EGR. "The expdiency of forming an alliance". Definite prosoal required to be drafted.

Joing committee with the Witney Railway to be formed to discuss. Mr Russell & Mr Hicks-Beach to represent the EGR.

Secretary to be paid £300/annum.
